I’m joining the Itire-Ikate community in celebrating International Women’s Day today, March 8, 2026. I’m honouring the incredible contributions of women to society, governance, and community development, highlighting the theme “Give To Gain”, which emphasizes investing in women’s empowerment for stronger families and communities.
I commend the resilience and achievements of women in Itire-Ikate LCDA and Lagos State, and reaffirm my administration’s commitment to promoting gender equality and protecting women’s rights. I’m encouraging everyone to support and uplift women, recognizing that when women succeed, communities flourish and society progresses. Happy International Women’s Day to all the remarkable women out there.
